Vimal Group is among the top chemical distribution companies in India. Vimal has always aspired to bring the best possible chemical solutions to Indian enterprises, sourced from all around the globe. The group has achieved ISO 9001:2015, 45001:2018 and 14001:2015 certification and has been accredited with CARE A- rating.

The group made its humble beginning more than three decades ago with a four member team and has grown today to over 275 people strong organization servicing more than 5,000 customers with products sourced from renowned global specialty chemical companies . The group today has achieved the position of being one of the leading specialty chemical distributors in India with clients spread across several end markets like Paints & Coatings, Construction, Inks, Textiles, Personal Care amongst others.

With it’s headquarter in Mumbai Vimal has invested in 7 regional offices and an application development lab. The group manages over 150 deliveries per day ranging from a few Kilos to full truck load delivering more than 60,000 MT materials annually out of 5 warehouses. Additionally the group has also invested in custom designed CRM and web based mobile application to improve business efficiency.

Beginning of chemical trading activity

  • Established a trading company VIMAL AGENCIES with a vision to enter in to chemical trading business looking to the future of chemical industry in India.
  • Major focus to cater needs of printing inks, paints and coatings.

Vimal established as a Pvt. Ltd. company in Mumbai

  • Vimal established as a private limited company with the name of VIMAL INTERTRADE PVT LTD with warehouse & office in Mumbai.
  • Building association with larger MNC’s and partnering with them to cater growing needs of Indian chemical market.

Set up application based teams with investment in regional offices at Chennai and Kolkata

  • This is the consolidation phase where Vimal has partnered itself with global chemical giants for providing global solution to Indian industry.
  • It has set an application based team with pool of resources consisting of technical managers, techno – commercials and sales team.
  • It has also expanded its geographical reach by setting up office and warehouse at Kolkata and Chennai.
  • We were growing with our customer and building partnership for mutual growth.

Increased warehouse space and invested in own warehouse

  • With increasing number of global partners Vimal has increased its product portfolio at large.
  • Vimal has emerged as a solution provider than just a distribution company.
  • Increasing portfolio and need of storing space Vimal has established its own warehouse near Pipavav port.

Set up Vimal LifeSciences Pvt. Ltd. along with Technical Service & Innovation Centre in Mumbai

  • Vimal emerged as the India’s largest specialty chemical distribution company.
  • Grew to a team of 150 young and enthusiastic professionals.
  • Vimal established an application development lab for VIMAL LIFE SCIENCES PVT LTD.
  • Lab supports all types of formulation for development, technical services, and product testing and evaluation facility for life sciences business.

Vimal Logistics invests in state-of-the-art warehouse of 125,000 sq.ft. in Wada, Maharashtra

  • Adding value to its service Vimal established VIMAL LOGISTICS PVT LTD.
  • Main objective for VIMAL LOGISTICS PVT LTD is to provide warehousing solution and transportation services to supplier and customer.
  • Group has diversified its business to number of industry.
